DisplayLink Enables MultiClient Solution Being Launched By ViewSonic Into Asia-Pacific, US, And Latin America Market

PALO ALTO, Ca and PHILADEPHIA, Pa, June 29, 2011 –  DisplayLink, the leading provider of technology for virtual graphics and USB-connected computing, and ViewSonic, leading global provider of computing, consumer electronics and communications solutions, today jointly announced that ViewSonic has launched its DisplayLink-certified MultiClientTM cloud  computing solution first announced in March 2011 in the US, South America and Asia-Pacific markets.

Connectivity in this MultiClient cloud computing solution is enabled by the new ViewSonic VMA20 LAN Adapter, which capitalizes on virtual graphics with the DL-125 chip from DisplayLink. “ViewSonic has leveraged DisplayLink technology very effectively to deliver Windows-based shared computing at an extremely competitive price per hardware seat.” said Dennis Crespo, DisplayLink executive vice president of marketing and business development. “There is no need for multiple video cards, and ViewSonic has included all the hardware components in one package for easy setup.”
