to Network Display Technology Innovator
PALO ALTO, CALIF., March 26, 2007 – DisplayLink Corp. (formerly Newnham Technology) today announced that Iain Kellet has joined the executive management team as vice president of finance.
With more than 10 years in executive- and director-level multinational finance roles, Kellet will drive DisplayLink’s corporate finance activities to support the company’s rapidly expanding growth in the market for network display technology. He reports to Hamid Farzaneh, DisplayLink president and CEO.
Kellet replaces Chief Financial Officer John Martyn who leaves the company to start his own consultancy. Martyn will be a consultant to DisplayLink to ensure a smooth transition.
“We’re seeing considerable growth as global companies like Samsung, Toshiba and Kensington adopt our solution and apply our high-performance technology to open up new markets. Iain’s experience will help us to manage that growth effectively and to put in place the structure and procedures we’ll need to maintain tight financial controls,” said Hamid Farzaneh, DisplayLink president and CEO. “I’d like to thank John for his considerable impact on DisplayLink and wish him success with his new business.”
Kellet most recently served as chief financial officer of Lucent Technologies UK where he was responsible for directing financial and management accounting, business analysis, statutory reporting, tax, treasury and cash flow management for Lucent's UK businesses. Prior to Lucent, Kellet held senior financial management positions in the UK, the US and Asia with the Campbell Soup Company, The BOC Group (chemicals and healthcare), and Unilever.
