Do I need to buy multiple video cards to hook up more than one monitor to my computer?
With DisplayLink powered products there is no need to use multiple video cards because monitors traditionally have only analog video connectors. DisplayLink currently offers analog video and DVI to USB adapters so people have the ability t o use any monitor they own. As well, there are now USB monitors that have DisplayLink technology built right into the monitor.
Setting up all those monitors looks hard. I’m not techie. Will set-up be hard?
Setting up a multiple monitor scenario using DisplayLink powered products is easy as plugging a toaster in the wall. There is no need to worry about software either because DisplayLink technology is intuitive. Simply plug your USB monitor into your computer, and the DisplayLink will take over from there. In a very brief amount of time, you can start enjoying an expanded visual workspace.
Multi-monitor use looks really expensive. Will it cost me much more money to use multiple monitors?
It’s actually a very affordable time to start using multiple monitors because of the following factors:
I hear that the quality of video over USB is not as good as over analog video. Is that true?
Video looks stunning over USB, and to the human eye, most people could not tell the difference between video running over USB or analog video.
