ASIC Design Engineers - ref: ASICDES2010
Please note: Although we have filled these particular positions we will be recruiting again in the very near future and are therefore happy to receive and review CVs from potential permanent and contract candidates; we will contact the suitable candidates when we are hiring in this area again.
Due to the continued growth of DisplayLink and success of our products we will be looking for experienced ASIC Engineers to design and implement our innovative network display products. The roles will focus on block design and implementation, but may also involve other parts of the flow from specification and RTL design of modules for use in ASIC or FPGA, through functional verification, synthesis and timing closure, to silicon validation and production test. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of at least one full chip development cycle, will have experience of several relevant and varied block designs targeted for ASIC, and should have a ‘can do’ attitude and will be willing to work on any part of the flow as required in this dynamic and exciting environment.
Essential Attributes:
- RTL design (VHDL preferred)
- Verification
- Experience of SoC designs
- Good Engineering degree or equivalent
- Teamworking and Flexibility
Desirable Attributes:
- Synthesis
- STA
- DFT
- Formal equivalence checking
- C or Assembler programming of embedded processors
- FPGA experience
- Network/Interface experience (USB, Ethernet, 802.11x, PCIe, SATA)
- Video experience (DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, Video controllers and system knowledge)
