Who We Are

With DisplayLink, expanding your visual workspace has never been easier or more affordable. Our technology makes it really easy to connect any display to any computer that supports USB or WiFi (which means any computer).

We call this Plug and Display.

It also means that any computer can drive more than one monitor - up to six in fact, although it's proven that just two monitors creates a big increase in desktop productivity. The universality of the DisplayLink solution allows different users to timeshare the same desktop environment creating enormous opportunities for saving on the costs of office space.

DisplayLink is supported by the major PC computer and accessories companies and is designed into docking stations, graphics adapters, and monitors. We are constantly creating new ways to support other platforms and devices, including Ultra HD 4K displays, tablets, and wireless devices.

DisplayLink is a privately held company with offices in the USA, Asia and Europe. It is backed by leading international investment funds including Atlas Venture, Balderton Capital, Cipio Partners, DAG Ventures and Draper Esprit.

In Memory

Martin King founded DisplayLink in 2003 to develop and exploit methods of delivering content to multiple flat panel displays from a single computer. He believed that this technology could lower the costs of computing and thus make information technology much more widely available in developing countries. Mr. King was a committed supporter of numerous social justice and environmental causes. He passed away in 2010.
